Using the "school within a school model," East Ridge High School in Chattanooga, TN has established a program for students who don't necessarily excel in the traditional high school environment. The Construction Career Academy (funded with help from a local construction company) utilizes a program that integrates curriculum, work-based learning, applied academics, team teaching and community partnerships.
